Connection of 3 phase motor with main supply through DOL(Direct On Line) starter


This images shows the connection of main supply to 3 phase motor, this type of connection is used in Gujarat Vij Company Limited (DGVCL/PGVCL/MGVCL/UGVCL).
From images you can see that the use DOL (Direct On Line) starter to start the 3 phase motor.

1 phase and 3 phase Energy meter connection with main supply

  This images shows the 1 phase Energy-meter connections. From image we can say that the Red and Black wire which is coming form left side is from DGVCL or MGVCL or PGVCL or UGVCL and same as right side Red and Black wire is go to the consumers home. This is how Energy meter connects as your home. This image shows the 3 phase connection of Energy meter for 3 phase load. This 3 phase meter connection is same connection which i describe earlier for 1 phase Energy meter connection but the difference is that in 3 phase energy meter there are 4 wire instead of  2 wire 4 wire of incoming and 3 wires outgoing Neutral (Black) wire is common for incoming and out going ,thatswhy  there are 3 wire at outgoing.
